1 What information do I need to bring with me to the Hospital?+

Patients should bring the following information when registering:

 
Health Insurance orders / Documents, if any.
Doctors referral letter along with diagnostic reports, X-Rays, Ultra- Sonography reports, if any Referral/Order Guidelines
List of medications you are presently taking
Required money in the form of cash / credit card / debit card (Master / VISA)- if not corporate tie up patients.
Workers compensation information (if applicable)
Driving license
2 Where do I go to donate blood (either for my forthcoming operation or for a sick relative)?+

need to go to blood bank which is located at 1st floor.

3 May I take flowers or gifts to a patient at Mission Hospital?+

Gifts are allowed on all units. Flowers are allowed on all units except the Intensive Care Unit.

4 What are the patient visiting hours?+
General ward:

11am to 12 pm / 5pm to 7pm

ICU:

4pm to 6 pm

ITU:

3pm to 4pm

CTVS:

3pm to 4pm

HDU:

3pm to 4 pm

CCU:

3pm to 4pm

NICU:

4pm to 5pm

Paediatric ward:

5pm to 6pm

5 Are children allowed to visit patients at TMH?+

In order to provide a more restful environment for our patients, on most of the nursing units, children under 10 years of age may visit for only 15 minutes. In the Maternal Child Unit no visitors under 12 years of age are permitted except siblings of the newborn. In the Pediatrics Unit, no visitors under the age of 18 months are permitted and must be accompanied by a parent.

6 Where do I call to find out the condition of a patient in the hospital?+

Call at 03432535555 our telephone desk. They will transfer the call to concerned Nursing station.

7 Where do I call if I have a question about my hospital bill?+

You need to call our Billing department at 0343 3982627

8 Where do I call for information on health screenings?+

Call to our Health check desk at 9800881631

9 What about food choices? Will the kind of food I prefer be made available to me?+

Yes, certainly. We will do our best to prepare and serve you a variety of choices of food as per your preference. However all dietary prescriptions are subject to your doctor's advice and appropriate to your health status. We do not permit food from outside to be brought into the hospital. Smoking and alcohol use are forbidden in the hospital premises.

10 What are the procedures involved in my discharge? What are the formalities and will I get a copy of all my investigation reports?+

Your primary consultants will inform the date of your discharge. At the time of discharge your nurse will detail you on the treatment / surgery that you have had and on the medication that you have to take, follow-up requirements if any and finally will hand over all your medical investigation reports/X-ray/MRI/other scan images and medicines.
